Tools for Every Project, Access for Everyone.

What is a Tool Library?

Tinkd Tool Library is a not-for-profit community-based initiative, supported by Tauranga City Council, that lends tools and equipment to members, much like a traditional library lends books.

Instead of purchasing expensive tools for occasional use, members can borrow a wide range of tools for DIY projects, home repairs, gardening, woodworking, and more.

Opening Times

Tuesday 10am – 12pm

Wednesday 6pm – 7pm

Sunday 10am – 12pm

148 Durham Street, Tauranga 3110

(Access at the side of the building via the ramp)

Are you a repairer or passionate recycler?

Held every last Saturday of the month (except December).

Once a month our Repair Cafe volunteer repairers come together and give objects destined for the landfill a second chance by attempting a repair. Maybe it can be fixed, maybe it can’t but at least we’ve tried, taken a look, offered an opinion and even repaired if we can.
